S.M.Y. ATLANTIDE

Our current project is a fascinating project!  We are working on the construction of this model as the real yacht is being absolutely restored as a new yacht and will become the tender to the yacht MARIETTE.

*A recent note sent to me from Down Under!
"Robby, your new project looks fascinating - when one thinks of a "yacht
tender", it brings to mind a little rowboat, not a full size luxury yacht in
its own right!"

This model was begun in March of 1998 and we have been very busy getting this project underway.  I have had to neglect the updates to our web site but I will now begin to show you this project as it unfolds and is created. See below for links to new development photographs.

I will be back to add a lot more information about this project.   Some of which involves a discussion about how computers, drafting, electronic transfer of information, and technology assists a project like this and some of our past commissions.  Also, there will be some information about the Bugatti 9' launch which will be located atop of the boathouse deck, where the information came from and how that information was recreated.  Also, how the construction approach for this model is so different than others in the past.  Come back as I pick away at these topics!   Thank you.  Rob Eddy

Please join us as we construct the new commission of a classic 1930's vintage Sailing/Motor Yacht ATLANTIDE
Additional information can be viewed from the Office of Ken Freivokh Designs in England. They are the architectural firm in charge of the new upgraded exterior view and interior design changes incorporated into the renovated design of ATLANTIDE:
There is a beautiful rendering of the yacht as she will appear.
