Sarah Jane

In June of 2004 we were commissioned to build a model of this Ted Fontaine 65’ sloop built at Lyman & Morse in Thomaston and completed by the owner at his home in Round Pond. They have a lot of time and memories invested in the real boat, and wish to have a 3-Dimensional piece of art created of their boat for their home/office.

This project was begun in the fall of 2004. We did not actively begin full-time work until January 2005. We had to complete SNOWHAWK the Ted Hood- Little Harbor 54’ sloop model project first.

The model scale is 1/2"=1'-0" making the model 32 inches long and 50 inches tall. We developed the interior of the pilothouse in a simplified way which gave the model a nice depth dimension. We encourage visits to our shop during regular hours but please call ahead to make an appointment and get directions.
