Turmoil
R. H. Eddy & Associates are
manufacturers of highly developed, scaled custom
yacht models. Our niche in the model market is
that we specialize in building replicas of yachts
that are currently owned and operated by their
owners. The history of our work spans over the
past twenty five years. The hardware (metalwork)
for the models are fabricated in our shop using
materials of gold, sterling silver and stainless
steel. This is a construction walk through of
'TURMOIL', a 1/2"=1'-0" scale model
completed in 1993. This shows the construction
technique used to construct the hull for this
model. What you will see in the following pages
are photographs which visually show the stages
of development.
